What Psychart is, and what it isn't

Psychart calculates your astrological birth chart from real astronomical data and offers an interpretation of it. Astrology is not science. Psychart is provided for reflection and entertainment only.

Nothing here is medical, financial, legal, psychological or professional advice of any kind, and it must not be used as a substitute for any of them. We make no prediction about your future and no promise about any outcome in your life. If a reading suggests something about your health, your money, your relationships or your decisions, treat it as a prompt to think, never as a finding, and never as a reason to act against professional advice.

What we do promise

One thing, and we take it seriously: the astronomy is correct. Positions are computed with the Swiss Ephemeris and independently cross-checked against a second engine derived from NASA data. Historical timezones come from the IANA database, including archived data that most software no longer carries.

Where we cannot know something, we say so rather than guess. If you don't give a birth time, we will not invent an Ascendant for you. If your birthplace and date fall somewhere the timezone record is ambiguous, the chart will tell you.

We do not promise that any interpretation is true, accurate, or meaningful. Interpretation is not a factual claim. The calculation is.

Who we are

Using the tools

Every tool on Psychart is free.There is no price, no checkout, no subscription and no payment page anywhere on this site, and nothing is held back behind one. You may use the tools for yourself, and you may generate a chart for someone else if you have their agreement. Please don't try to break, overload or scrape the service. We may withdraw access if you do.

You can create an account if you want somewhere to keep birth details you use often. That is a convenience and nothing more: an account unlocks nothing, because there is nothing locked. What we store and how is set out on our Privacy page.

Because the service is free, we don't guarantee it will always be available, and we may change or withdraw any tool. We will not start charging for something you are part-way through.

You keep any rights you have in the birth details you enter. We claim nothing over them. See our Privacy page.

Our liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Subject to that: we are not liable for any loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, and we are not liable for any decision you take on the basis of a reading. Astrology is not a basis for decisions about your health, your finances, your safety or your relationships, and we are telling you so in advance, plainly. Psychart is supplied free of charge, so there is no price to measure a loss against.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

If something goes wrong

Tell us. If you think your chart is wrong, say so and we will reproduce it exactly and check it against a second independent engine, a disputed chart is a measurement, not an argument. If we got it wrong, we will fix it and say so.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top tells you when they last changed. If we ever introduce a charge for anything, we will say so plainly and in advance, and we will not apply it to anything you already have.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your own courts.
